I didn't get my verification code

No WhatsApp code? Check the number, wait 45 seconds and resend — or get the code by email instead.

1. Check the number on screen is your WhatsApp number. If not, press Change number / use email and fix it. Outside India, include your country code (for example +971).
2. Wait about 45 seconds, then press Resend code.
3. Still nothing? Press Change number / use email, then Not on WhatsApp? Email me the code instead. The code goes to your account email — check spam if it isn't there in a minute.

Messages you might see

• "That code has expired — send a new one." Codes last 10 minutes.
• "Too many wrong tries — send a new code." Each code allows 5 tries.
• "Too many codes requested — please try again in an hour." You can request up to 5 codes an hour (WhatsApp and email together).

Always type the newest code — an older one won't work once you've asked for another.
