Why do I have to verify my mobile number?

New accounts confirm their WhatsApp number with a 6-digit code before using the dashboard or a free trial. You can get the code by email instead.

After you sign up (and before you start a course's free trial), we ask you to confirm your number. Our counsellors use it to help you with courses and placements.

1. On the Verify your account page, check your Mobile number.
2. Press Send code on WhatsApp. Not on WhatsApp? Press Not on WhatsApp? Email me the code instead — the code goes to your account's email.
3. Type the 6-digit code and press Verify. You'll be taken on to where you were going.

• A code is valid for 10 minutes.
• You get 5 tries at a code — after that, send a new one.
• You can ask for a new code after about 45 seconds, and up to 5 codes an hour.

Typed the wrong number? On the code screen press Change number / use email, fix it, and send again.
